The team's leaving Port Elizabeth in about 5 hours (provided there are no delays) and we're headed back to Pretoria on a 20-hour +++++++ train ride.
To be honest, I don't really wanna leave PE because I've enjoyed it so much here. The host church, the host families, the youths, the services, the missions, the outreaches, the weather, the environment... It's been really great! But then again, this is just another phase and life does go on from here.
Next up - Zambia. Apparently I'm gonna be staying in a dormitory with 8 other Zambians who are having their missions training! This is gonna be a really new experience for me, and I am actually looking forward to it, although I am inevitably a little nervous because of all the uncertainty... And because I'll be alone again without a team - lots of time for reflection and all.
I can't wait for training to begin in September, though. I'm really excited about that! :) I know it'll be an amazing 5 months, perhaps the best 5 months of my life. Perhaps. I will find out soon enough :)
Okay till next time, which might be in a week, might be more than a week... Hopefully there'll be more photos then because I'll have my laptop again. Hehe. Take care! God bless!
Love,
Marianne
